I am delighted to be partnering with Local Trust and their recruitment of a permanent Web and Communications Coordinator. This exciting role will play an essential part in developing the organisation's online and offline presence with the successful candidate joining the business at an exciting time in their journey.

Local Trust was established in 2012 to deliver Big Local, a Big Lottery-funded programme which committed £1m to 150 local areas in England to manage their own local initiatives over a 10-15 year period.

Things are moving at pace at Local Trust and the organisation has recruited a number of posts over the last few months. They are now looking to recruit a website and communications co-ordinator to join their team.

This post will be part of a small but growing team delivering a new communications strategy seeking to raise the profile of Local Trust and Big Local. The post holder has a vital role to play - maintaining online content and social engagement, developing the website to meet the changing needs of the audiences and leading a new project to integrate the CRM, website and email. Alongside this the postholder will be at the heart of Local Trust's transition to a responsive, relationship-driven, outward facing organisation delivering one of the most ambitious community programmes ever undertaken.

Ideal candidates will display:

* Extensive experience in communications with a focus on building online profile and improving communications tools and experience
* Experience of managing and maintaining content across a website and social media channels
* Experience of managing website development projects
* Experience of managing the production of engaging content in print and digital media
* Excellent written communication skills for online and offline audiences
* Excellent planning and project management skills
* Experience working in the voluntary sector would be ideal but is not essential

If you'd like to know more about these roles please apply with an up to date CV.
