My Client based in Merseyside, is looking for an experienced Bid Writer to join their rapidly expanding team. You will report into the Business Development Manager and will assist and lead on quality submissions for tenders across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinating and producing tender submissions
Production of high quality documents, and submissions in line with identified deadlines
Responsible for sourcing, collating, writing and winning competitive tenders across various markets and clients for the company
Contribute to the team at key stages of individual tender projects
Daily monitoring of tender trackers and portals
Review of tender documents and interpretation of client requirements
Input into Bid/No Bid decision meetings
Creation of tender action logs and timelines against deadlines
Responsible for proof reading material and providing technical and commercial writing skills
Assisting with development of bespoke proposals, best practice information, technique guides; template answers and style sheets
Building and developing relationships with a variety of business sector teams
Reviews of previous submissions and document learning for implementation in future bids
Management of the submittals/Bid process
Writing and editing pre-qualification/Submittal documents
Writing and editing capability statements and EOI documents
Liaising with pre-construction teams for technical content
Writing promotional/marketing material, best practice and award submissions

Key Skills
Educated to Degree level (desirable)
Strong Bid Writing experience ideally within the construction and energy markets
Excellent written English and communication skills
Knowledge of and familiarity with CRM databases and office software packages. When needed, the desire and ability to work late hours to deliver submissions on time is required
Excellent organisational skills
Excellent client facing skills
A naturally inquisitive nature to challenge ideas and provide innovative solutions
Exceptional writing, editing and copy-writing skills
Will be comfortable working to tight deadlines
Be able to thrive on new challenges and have the drive to progress the role into other areas such as awards, tenders and assist within Marketing and Business development as and when necessary
