A big global legal firm is looking for a Senior Bids Assistant. This role sits in the UK pitch team - a team of professionals responsible for project managing UK led pitches from inception to completion. In this role you will ensure that practice specific credentials and base materials are up to date, working closely with the lawyers in the practice and our colleagues in Account Management to achieve this.

Under the guidance of the pitch manager and senior advisors, this role is responsible for the co-ordinated and timely delivery of high quality legal and commercially contextual pitch documents, with content and credentials 100% accurate and of the highest quality. You will also ensure that relevant marketing infrastructure related to the pitch process is kept up to date and that entries within these systems meet the needs of marketing in London and develop consistent best practice and share within the team and globally where appropriate.

The role works in very close collaboration with the Account Management team and is crucial for the successful delivery of high quality, 'right first time' pitches and credentials.

The candidate should possess the ability to work within a professional, dynamic and high volume environment and should have excellent attention to detail. This role will be aligned to set practice areas and the candidate will be responsible for keeping up to date with developments in that group and building relationships with the practice.

This person will also work on global and UK panel pitches, working closely with the UK Pitch Manager, senior advisors and Client Origination Manager. The role requires a good understanding of the audience the pitch is aimed at. Therefore, delivery back to the business must be highly focused, relevant and accurate. You will also be responsible for ensuring that feedback is obtained on the outcome of the pitch and update records accordingly and that the 'pitch repository' relevant pitch materials are kept up-to-date. This includes, but is not limited to, the upkeep of pitch base material, product and office descriptions. Ensure that best practice is captured and that all pitch materials are up to date, accurate, and fit for purpose.

You will be highly organised, a team player, who is self-motivated and can multi-task well. You'll be calm under pressure and be robust, even when challenged. You will be a positive thinker who has excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence others.

You must have experience of managing pitches in a professional environment, and have strong marketing experience with a strong client focus. With excellent English grammar, writing and time management skills. You will have the ability to prioritise workload appropriately and be highly PC and IT literate.
