We are looking for a highly motivated individual with extensive experience of managing and delivering school and college outreach activities on behalf of a higher education institution. This post sits within the UK Recruitment and Outreach Team, and will play a key role in helping us to meet our ambitious recruitment targets.

You will use your knowledge and experience to shape a plan which will ensure we maximise recruitment from schools and colleges in the Yorkshire, the North West, North East and the Midlands. You will devise and implement strategic engagement strategies with schools and colleges and you will be driven by a commitment to meet targets.

You will oversee a team of professionals who organise and carry out school and college outreach activities both on and off campus. You will manage the bookings of the team, build relationships with academic colleagues and carefully monitor and evaluate the impact of our activities. You will work closely with access and widening participation colleagues to support access activities as required.

You will join a fast-paced and exciting department where you have the opportunity to truly make your mark on shaping and delivering our student recruitment outreach strategy.

You will possess:

  • Excellent people management skills with a track record in managing teams
  • Experience of successfully delivering on recruitment or sales targets
  • Experience of working in the education sector and with developing working relationships with schools and colleges
  • Excellent administration and project management skills, and experience of managing human and financial resources
  • A full driving licence

This post will involve some evening and weekend work, and some travel across the North of England.
