To create and implement product promotional activity within specific managed accounts, developing the business and increasing Samsung Consumer Electronics market share (TV/AV)

Client Details

* Manage the Argos channel marketing activity including online, ensuring that cohesive quarterly / six month /12 month marketing plans are in place and implemented effectively, as well as supporting on the Dixons & John Lewis accounts
* Briefing of John Lewis, Argos & Dixons specific assets to agencies & trafficking projects once briefed. Providing feedback and working with the agency to deliver a good outcome

* Set KPIs for all planned marketing activity including digital metrics, and manage/review effectiveness & ROI.

* Understanding the customer account requirements, strategic direction and opportunities by developing prosperous relationships at all levels in the account.

* Create and implement strong, creative TV/AV marketing activities including key promotional activity /added value campaigns within specific managed channels on time and to budget. These activities will include:

* Channel press / OOH advertising

* Catalogues

* In-store Sales promotion Execution (including 3rd party - eg Deezer/Netflix/NowTV etc)

* Digital advertising and product execution on third party retailer websites including PDPs, Category pages, Banner advertising and paid search / Social

* Digital Brand Store development

* Digital product page development

* Effective Samsung brand management within specific managed channels

* Work with the relevant sales teams to sell into channel new and existing products/ promotions through clear presentation of the ATL marketing plan and development of bespoke BTL/Channel initiatives to stimulate consumer demand and drive sales within channel.

* Review and analyse the competitive forces both in the market and channels, and plan for such events to limit the potential negative effect upon Samsung TV/AV sales.

* Be responsible for and ensure the Channel marketing budget and Advertising & Promotional accrual budget for specific managed channels is allocated in a cost effective manner to maximize ROI. Based on projected sales, ensure that activity planned is in line with proposed accruals.

* Working with Product Marketing and Sales understand the stock and sales figures for each product in the range, by channel and ensure all products sell through in a timely manner.

* Manage channel specific activities with sales promotion, event, creative and PR agencies.

* Support the Dixons & John Lewis channel managers with website auditing, working with the customer to optimise compliance levels on product pages, features & benefits, imagery, category creation etc. As well as helping to improve conversion rates.

* Supporting the weekly customer meeting minutes for the Dixons and John Lewis meetings

* Liaise with our content provider agency iSite to get product and lifestyle videos created for key TV/AV products

* Pulling together the weekly, monthly and quarterly reports with the team

* Project finance - owning the raising of marketing funding for customers and vendors as well as updating the Dixons, Argos and John Lewis Budget tracker accordingly


* Must be able to demonstrate experience across all marketing mix - ATL-BTL

* Strong PPT skills

* Commercial ability to produce business case and ROI on marketing spend

* Able to demonstrate management experience of large and complex marketing budgets

Job Offer

Upto £300 per day via a ltd organisation or £42,000 per annum plus benefits and bonus
