Are you an editor with experience in commissioning, developing and managing the production of large scale fortnightly newsletters? Are you VERY strong on proofreading, personalisation and forward planning for content? Have you worked within a large multinational organisation where you have thousands of people as your internal audience? If so please read on!
You will have very high editorial standards including proofreading, outstanding punctuation/grammar/style as well as good PM skills to collate and edit this volume of content and keep it on track. There are around 200 stories in each newsletter so you will need to be disciplined with excellent stakeholder management skills – lots of persuasion and influencing needed whilst being sensitive to priorities and pressures on others. You will have previously managed a large scale newsletter, content calendars and have a well honed sensitivity around global vs local content
About the role
You will be working on flagship email newsletter project where your internal audience is in excess of 100,000 people. Each email will be personalised to the specific audience making it hugely complex. You will be tasked with increasing air traffic and consolidate everything into 1-stop-shop rather than each region doing their own newsletters. You will need to commission, develop and run the production of each newsletter. You will have overarching editing responsibility of the newsletter as well as forward planning on content and managing the full production lifecycle. You will partner with channel colleagues as well as business and local communicators.

This is a large matrixed organisation based in West London.
- Pharma not necessary
- FMCG or big multinational would be good
- Online/email audience of 100K, so needs to have similar audience numbers – 100K is unlikely given how big GSK is

- Photoshop and understanding of HTML would be handy
