This a new opportunity for a Senior Marketing & Business Development Executive to work within an ambitious team across the South Region. Based in the Berkshire office and covering the Thames Valley and Solent areas, this role will report directly to the Senior Marketing and Business Development Manager for the South, and is part of continuing growth plans for the team.



We are looking for someone with a strong commercial and strategic mind who not only understands the drivers behind Marketing and Business Development, but can also translate these into opportunities for the business.

Description

The Senior Marketing & Business Development Executive will be responsible for:

Marketing





* Deliver the local integrated marketing plan including: rolling-out of national Marketing and Business Development initiatives locally, and design and implementation of local campaigns and events

* Manages local PR activity and integration into the wider marketing plan

* Support local implementation of advertising/sponsorship/PR opportunities as deemed appropriate.

* Organise and deliver Marketing and Business Development activity associated with industry and sector strategies

* Manage local spend, reporting on marketing activity and ROI

* Ensures adherence to compliance, national marketing and sales protocols.





Business Development

* Undertake market analysis to support design and delivery of the Marketing and Business Development plan

* Draw together local market intelligence and liaise with the Senior Marketing and Business Development Manager regarding target information to support the sales process.

* Manage the internal Business Development process to drive activity in the Partner or Director groups and sales teams, and to champion and communicate the contents of the pipeline (targets and key clients) to the wider teams.

* Drive local targeting activity including: identification of dynamic targets and prospects, creation and adherence to target pursuit and action plans, ensure prospects and targets have a regular contact program in place and that records are updated using the firm's sales management and CRM system (InterAction).

* Undertake follow-up calls to networking and marketing activity to generate appropriate meetings with targets and prospects

* Where deemed appropriate, attend new business meetings with Partners and Directors.

* Identify and advise other members of our team, at all levels, of opportunities for new business or cross-selling.

Proactive development of a personal network of intermediary and business introducer contacts in a local area.



* Oversee the local pitch process, in line with the firm's proposal methodology.

Where deemed appropriate, complete pitch de-briefs in line with firms standards or ensure pitch de-briefs are undertaken in a timely fashion

The Senior Marketing & Business Development Executive will ideally display:



* Provide project management support for Marketing & Business Development team members.

* Actively participates in the Marketing and Business Development team and contributes to positive morale.

* As part of the region, works collaboratively across all areas within the team to maximise our contribution to the firm and to clients.

* Acts as a role model for colleagues and reports and provides constructive upward feedback to more senior colleagues.

* Works in line with the firm's values, of collaboration, leadership, excellence, agility, respect and responsibility.

* Seeks regular feedback and identifies and acts upon learning and development needs in order to develop technical and personal skills.

* Completes a timely performance review and personal development plan.

* Works and supports other members of the Marketing and Business Development team across other offices in the region on national and regional business development and marketing initiatives.
