Brief Description This individual is responsible for the design of all sites and is the online brand guardian. The role combines expertise in design and layout skills and also calls for a deep understanding of UX principles and practices. The role also involves some offline design work. Role Responsibilities This individual is responsible for the design of all sites and is the online brand guardian. The role combines expertise in design and layout skills and also calls for a deep understanding of UX principles and practices. The role should also serve to ensure the company is compliant by following the latest Web Accessibility guidance and that the business meets with the required risk protocols and related controls, and takes relevant action to prioritise related CR's and BAU. The Digital Designer will work closely with the Digital Developer to assist in the management of the production pipeline and to take ownership of relevant digital projects. The Designer will also support User Experience (UX) and wireframing from time to time to support business needs, and assist with project scoping.

Functional Areas and Responsibilities  Design all intermediary and investor sites (incl. branded microsites).  When designing new pages, ensure they are compliant with the latest Web Accessibility guidance.  Provide advice and approval for all email marketing campaigns.  Produce web graphics/banner design and provide guidance to third parties.  Implement design improvements to the websites, making suggestions wherever possible.  Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders around the business, as well as third party vendors.  Engage in project work as requested by the Senior Marketing Manager and IT teams - providing guidance and ensuring user experience standards have been met (e.g. usability, web accessibility, layout etc) and a smooth delivery.  Understand and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive corporate data.

 Ensure that all web based content is compliant before publishing.
 Cross check and verify data sources to ensure accuracy.
 Ensure that the digital marketing workflow and content development
procedures, accuracy checks and sign-offs are adhered to.
 Be the brand guardian for online brand.
 Support the ongoing maintenance of user journey documentation
 Make wireframe adjustments where required
 Create wireframes from time to time depending on business needs
Essential
 Good understanding of the Internet and how issues such as usability and
accessibility affect user experience
 Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
 Understanding & appreciation of HTML and how web pages are constructed.
 Good working knowledge of web accessibility standards and usability issues.
 Web graphic production, manipulation and optimisation.
 Email marketing experience.
 Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint,
Word and Outlook.
 Good all-round written and communication skills.
 Meticulous approach, attention to detail and accuracy.
 Ability to work well within a team and build/maintain relationship with
stakeholders.
 Complete fluency in graphic and web design packages (Photoshop,
Illustrator, Fireworks, Flash, Adobe Acrobat)
 Creative and able to deliver highly polished web interfaces for highly
complex transactional branded websites, to brand guidelines
 Be able to apply understanding of web accessibility standard to respond with
appropriate solutions
 Prioritisation and time management skills - ability to multitask. Ability to
work on multiple scheduled and unscheduled tasks, while helping to drive
projects forward and providing coaching
 Knowledge of Flash ActionScript
 Experience working on commercial websites with a proven understanding of
web technologies, browser compatibilities and limitations.
