Michael Page are currently recruiting a fantastic role for a Head of Corporate Land Partnerships, based in their head office in New Malden (24 minutes from Waterloo). This role is responsible for implementing and leading the corporate land strategy for FCTG Europe and ensuring our corporate content is the best of any Travel Management Company in Europe.

Detailed Job Description

The Head of Corporate Land Partnerships will be manage a diverse team, be responsible for all aspects of FCTG Europe's corporate land content (hotel, car, rail and ancillary) including procurement, distribution both offline and online, fulfilment and supplier relations. They will also be responsible for:

  • On-going negotiation of best possible commercial terms with a focus on driving override improvements and co-operative marketing funds
  • Management of local hotel deals and lead negotiator of Global deals with EU HQ's
  • Analysis of reports and key booking trends to create short term tactical incentives to continuously improve back end margins
  • Development & delivery of Marketing Plans for key partners
  • Nurture and grow relationships with both suppliers and competitors at a high level without compromising confidentiality and grow multi-level relationships
  • Create customer centric product ranges that can be marketed as part of our Land Booking Agency which should become a major competitor advantage
  • Sourcing, contracting and distributing industry leading corporate land content which is easy to book and relevant to our clients / industry sector
  • Working with brand marketing departments to ensure land content is a core ingredient in their marketing strategies
  • Growing the FCM Client Hotel Programme (number of clients and existing client hotel spend)
  • Launching relevant product offerings to the market (e.g. rate checkers, SME hotel programmes)
  • Ensure each brand and country has a clearly define corporate land story and strategy to grow land sales and increase back end margin through increased sales and better channelling
  • Work closely with brands' leadership teams to remove roadblocks to selling land to offer customers a full end to end experience and gain greater share of wallet

Candidate's Profile

  • At least 5 years experience in the corporate travel sector (in either a TMC or similar industry sector)
  • At least 3 years experience in a role where you showed proven negotiating skills
  • At least 3 years in a senior leadership role
  • Ability to identify trends & opportunities for brands to improve sales of preferred partners
  • Excellent liaison and collaboration skills
  • High understanding of business acumen in order to understand complex land deals
  • Good knowledge of impact of accruals and debtors
  • Capability of working to stringent time management levels
  • Ability to juggle many responsibilities competently
  • Strong financial reporting and analysis experience
  • Good understanding of how complex formulas, V-lookup and pivot tables work in Excel
