International Marketing and Relationship Manager
The Agile Business Consortium is going through a process of significant development, building out a new product, the Framework for Business Agility, and implementing new global partnerships to help shape, promote, pilot and refine the Framework. Existing products include the very successful AgilePM® (Agile Project Management) widely used in the UK and overseas.
To support this growth, the Consortium is seeking an experienced marketing professional. The role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work in an established, pioneering Agile organisation to develop new revenue streams and markets, maximise on current relationships and develop new affiliations and partnerships both in the UK and overseas.
Leading a small team, you will provide strategic direction and oversee all marketing functions including PR and events.
Design and implement a marketing strategy in conjunction with the Board and CEO and manage the marketing budget
Develop the marketing plan in support of the strategy and review both on a regular basis
Market research and analysis to explore new revenue streams and opportunities
Develop and implement the CRM strategy
Monitor market trends, research influencers, global events and innovations, and report important developments to the Board
Lead a small team to deliver on all marketing activities: PR, advertising, events, social media, content creation
Ownership of the website and developing digital marketing channels and campaigns across B2B and B2C audiences
Analyse and report on all marketing activities
Identify, negotiate and close significant global partnerships that support the Consortium’s mission and strategy
Build on current relationships with partners and other stakeholders to develop full potential
Be an internal advocate for partners, understanding their needs and ensuring they get value from the relationship
Initiate creative sessions and business development activities (networking events, workshops, talks, product demonstrations, newsletters etc.) to engage and inform partners
Skills and Experience
Understanding of Agile concepts and business agility
Proven experience in strategic planning and implementation
Commercial acumen and demonstrable track record of delivering results
Experience of managing C-level stakeholders and negotiations
Proven experience in digital marketing
Experience in initiating and developing relationships in an international setting
Public speaking and representing organisations at industry events
Marketing qualification CIM level 7 or MA or equivalent experience
Agile – understands and lives the ‘9 Principles of Agile Leadership’
Strategic thinker, self-motivated and pro-active with a ‘can-do’ attitude and pragmatic approach to delivery
Enthusiastic, professional and naturally happy to wear multiple ‘hats’ as part of a growing organisation
Personable with excellent communication and presentation skills
Confident and able to engage with stakeholders at all levels
Experienced in leading a team
Ability to work to tight timescales and work effectively under pressure
Willing to travel in the UK and abroad
