An exciting and urgent FMCG opportunity has emerged based in Berkshire for an Internal Communications Assistant Manager. The successful candidate will join a recognised and international business supporting the UK and Ireland team and partnering the Head of Communications to devise and deliver the internal communications plan. This role will manage and develop the digital and face-to-face communication channels.

Description

The successful Internal Communications Assistant Manager will be responsible for:



* Partnering with 'Head of Internal Communications' to devise and deliver the Internal Communications strategy across face-to-face (town halls, management cascade and huddles) and digital channels, e.g. Yammer, Microsites.

* Developing engaging content across all channels to educate internal stakeholders about company news, products, policies and changes. You will provide daily writing, editing and content management support.

* Working with agencies and suppliers to execute internal communications campaigns; achieving business objectives and conducting focus groups to assess employee needs and suggestions.


Profile

The successful Internal Communications Assistant Manager will have a communications related qualification and be able to deliver;



* A track record of results in the delivery of creative high-impact internal communications campaigns and plans to deliver desired business outcomes

* Excellent writing and editing skills with an extensive knowledge of the creation of key materials online and offline



* A Demonstrable knowledge of managing intranets, especially SharePoint

* The ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with diverse employee groups and stakeholders
