Are you a highly motivated digital marketing and content professional? Know all about analytics and Adwords, keywords and KPIs? We're looking for someone to fill this exciting digital role working within the ILM Marketing team to implement and optimise our core digital marketing activities, from paid and organic social campaigns to website content and more.

About the role

An exciting new opportunity has arisen in our ILM Digital Strategy, Marketing and Research department for a 9 month fixed term contract to provide maternity cover. As a Digital Communications Executive you will take overall responsibility for bringing ILM’s purpose and success through leadership stories, real life case studies and sharing best practice with people from all kinds of sectors and job roles. You’ll do this by supporting the Content manager in executing the content and social media strategy and ILM’s core digital marketing activity.

You’ll be comfortable working across a range of activities and content streams, such as running organic and paid social media advertising campaigns across LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook, as well as analysing and reporting on quantitative and qualitative data from social and digital media campaigns, both organic and paid. You’ll be able to analyse and interpret the results to inform and optimise future campaigns.

About you

The ideal candidate will be a digital content marketer with experience implementing a content and social strategy across a range of channels, including the website, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google Adwords, so your knowledge of these channels will be invaluable to be a key team member. Alongside this, your ability to draw upon your knowledge and experience of a website CMS system as well as Google Analytics will distinguish you from other candidates. 

You’ll be a natural communicator, able to work and build a strong rapport with key internal stakeholders across the business as well as external stakeholders on numerous digital work streams. We want you to be pro-active with a can-do attitude to ensure you not only do well with your day-to-day activities but also support the digital team on large scale projects.

Your CMS system and HTML skills will be put to the test, updating and maintaining website content daily to ensure it is as accurate as possible. Using your experience using social media platforms, we’ll be expecting you to improve engagement across our social media accounts to ensure ILM’s purpose is understood clearly using a multi-channel approach to get the most out of our investment.
