Innovation Marketing Manager is a key role with the Marketing team reporting directly to the Innovation Controller.  The primary focus will be to lead the development of branded innovation ideation and projects for the brand team. It is a highly proactive role that influences the overall focus of the business by delivering a clear innovation plan for the rolling 3 years and leading key cross functional projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing the 3 year rolling NPD plan for branded innovation, including concept development and concept writing.
  • Bringing a high level of creativity, passion and proactive innovative thinking within internal and external forums.
  • Leading the development of priority innovation initiatives through the stage gate process.
  • Identification of insights and opportunities for the brands within category.
  • Understanding the current and future consumer needs relating to relevant portfolios.
  • Building and developing business cases for key projects, ensuring that they are commercially sound propositions.

Successful candidates will have a strong and proven track record in FMCG innovation, ideally gained within food.  We are also looking for a high level of creativity and the ability to manage ambiguity and a number of projects concurrently. Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills are also a must, as is a strong business mind and P&L experience.  Email your CV to for more information.
