Works closely across a number of business desks defining the core Go to Market plans that are relevant to the core audiences of the Corporate and Institutional Banking team.

This role requires a strategic marketing thinker that understands the clientcentric marketing approach required in order to help drive both retention and acquisition led marketing strategies.

This role requires careful research, planning and analysis whilst tapping into the centres of excellence for Group Marketing and Corporate and Institutional Bank Marketing Delivery.

Client Details

My client We provide a diverse range of financial products and services to a niche client base in three principal markets. They are a growing business based in Berkshire who are looking for a Strategically minded Marketing Manager to join their team.


The Marketing Manager will be responsible for:

Development of core messaging platform against core client audiences developing marketing plans against budget that help drive both retention and acquisition

Responsible for initiating creative campaigns - planning and executing successfully across core specialist bank stakeholder audiences

Driving segmentation across client groups linked closely to insight, research and data

Core touch point for a number of business desks that target similar external audiences excellent understanding of business strategy and value proposition development at a wider business scale

Work across the strategic marketing team to build a one bank marketing approach that Initiates and builds core messaging relevant to stakeholder audiences aligning marketing programmes to these

Builds strong collaboration with the CIB marketing delivery team ensuring all marketing plans are well executed with strong results

Excellent stakeholder relationships with the business understanding the market, clients, prospects and influencers that require careful targeting

Work alongside data and insight teams (and with third parties where relevant) ensuring current and future predictive analytics shape the marketing and business strategy for the relevant group

Drive a proactive approach to monitoring and engaging / shaping marketing approach around core metrics with the client, employee and market voice

Responsible for budget management and marketing planning with clearly linked commercial KPIs

Works closely to identify the full scale of marketing delivery channels that best activate the strategic plans including internal, media and marketing delivery channels


The Marketing Manager will Ideally Display:

Strong stakeholder and influencing skills particularly around core audiences and go to market planning

Excellent communication and team engagement skills

Ability to influence through others, working in a matrix driven environment

Great can-do approach and ability to prioritise and influence decisions

Strong collaborator across central and other business division marketing teams

Positive and enthusiastic approach to the business
