Senior Business Development Executive – Antitrust and Competition
This is a great opportunity to join an increasingly prevalent and growing area within a truly global and top tier law firm. With recent successes including advisory work on the largest ever consumer merger, this is an international role that will be working with some of the world’s foremost competition and antitrust advisers covering high stakes litigation through to cartel investigations and large-scale transactions.
Day to day this means you’ll be working in a unique and fluid role across a global network joining teams in the States with group leaders in Asia Pacific, whilst managing a partner group based in London. The core of this role will support fee earners and leadership teams on strategic plans, delivering integrated campaigns and managing associated budgets.
The role isn’t pitch orientated, and where bids are integrated into the role it’s around creating bespoke and tailored insight for specific client needs. The crux of the role is driven around profile raising and reputation management, working with events, pr and comms teams to deliver strategic initiatives designed to raise the profile of the firm.
Successful candidates will have a track record in professional services marketing and BD, and be keen to take on a visible and global role. Given that it sits with the partnership and spans two BD teams, it will take an entrepreneurial and autonomous individual happy to both motivate others as well as themselves. It would equally suit a lawyer or solicitor looking to move into a more client focused role.
