Description

You'll be excited by having full ownership of your brand, leading both the strategic and executional facets of your brands delivery and growth ambitions in the short and long term. You'll lead, empower, develop and envision your team against the growth agenda and be motivated by outperforming the competition.



In addition to your brand responsibilities you'll be motivated by playing a key role in delivering a transformational capability development programme that brings FMCG excellence to our consumer health business.



The Marketing Managers role responsibilities include:



* To lead, create and develop the 3-Yr brand strategy, goals and objectives engaging key stakeholders to the strategy and plans in order to grow ahead of the market and deliver the P&L required

* To lead the creation of the annual brand plan and cross functional implementation of the activation plans to deliver against planned sales, share and profit targets

* To own & be responsible for the brand performance, market and competitive understanding & operational KPI's & implications of these on your brand

* To work closely with the category and trade marketing teams to execute your plans in partnership with our retailers with excellence

* To contribute to the development of NPD and commercial innovation strategy & plans in partnership with global colleagues and own the rollout execution plans

* To actively support and collaborate with global team, sharing best practice and reapplying success

* To support Marketing head in developing and embedding FMCG marketing excellence within your immediate team and across the wider UK marketing team

* To lead, develop and inspire your direct reports to deliver your brand vision and performance targets

Who you are / Minimum requirements:



* Passionate, curious & courageous with a clear desire to take accountability & ownership for your brand

* Significant consumer marketing experience gained in FMCG or consumer healthcare company

* Evidence of strong commercial acumen and P&L management

* Strong strategic thinking skills and evidence of developing strategies that have contributed to strong growth delivery

* Strong influencing and interpersonal skills underpinned with excellent communication skills

* Experience of working in a global matrix organization

* Strong ability to lead and develop your team

* Prior experience of agency partner management managing media buying essential

* Education to degree level or Marketing qualification

* A track record of New Product Development would be advantageous
