The role of Knowledge Manager will be responsible for the development of a new Knowledge function with a focus on the Insurance industry.

Client Details

The client is a Private Equity company with a strong focus on the global Insurance market.


The key responsibilities of the Knowledge Manager will include the following:

* Draw insights from primary and secondary data sources internationally

* Propose and deliver intellectual capital development projects to support the company's market differentiation

* Synthesise and distribute intellectual capital that exists within the company but has yet to be (re)packaged / improved in terms of content or form and convert this in to finished product or marketing propositions

* Ensure external and internal sharing of new intellectual capital is developed and supports the sales & marketing activity program

* Help key stakeholders to develop, write, edit and refine the new content accordingly

* Drive internal communication to increase internal visibility

* Establishment of KM systems, maintenance and development

* Ensure proper use of knowledge tools and appropriate knowledge sharing


The ideal candidate for this Financial Services focused Knowledge Manager role, based in London, will possess the following:

Experience required:

* Extensive professional experience in a consulting firm or investment bank or as a Knowledge Manager

* Strong interest and experience in the Insurance industry is a requirement

* Familiarity with PE-type ownership and investor mentality is desirable

Skills and attributes:

* Advanced university degree

* Strong project management skills

* Comfortable speaking and presenting to senior audiences, and external clients where required

* Evidence of a collaborative approach in previous roles with a highly-developed service orientation

* Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

* Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Access

* Experience of connecting Knowledge Management systems and sales systems to support effective sales performance

* Support a differentiated proposition

* Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English, additional languages are advantageous
