Our client is the largest and most comprehensive manufacturer of healthcare products in the world.  This role sits within the part of the business which maintains its world leadership position with No.1 brand status within its category, distributing to over 70 countries worldwide. Experiencing extremely positive growth yoy, we are now looking to hire a Senior Director, reporting to the Vice President, to lead key accounts, category management, ecommerce, capabilities and pricing & analytics, and to deliver against some very specific KPIs including;

  1. Build and implement the ecommerce strategy.
  2. Embed key account partnerships, building a strong and strategic presence in the key account channel.
  3. Ensure salesforce excellence by up-weighting capabilities across the team resulting in an agile and versatile sales organisation.
  4. Unify on and offline pricing strategies.

The European head office is located in Berkshire and whilst the preference is for the Senior Director to be based here, you could also be based in Paris, Hamburg or Rome.  Given the European aspect to this position you will be required to travel however travel time will reduce if you are based in the head office.

Required experience

  • Ecommerce. This should already be a big part of your current role.
  • Key account/category management experience.
  • International market experience – highly developed markets such as the UK through to under-developed, and diverse cultural backgrounds to consider.
  • Ability to influence and lead through others.
  • Senior sales, marketing or general management experience.
  • Healthcare background strongly preferred.
