My client are looking to bring in a Head of Marketing to conduct the wider Marketing function (which consists of a team of 5 people). The main aim of the role is to put together and help implement an innovative strategy aimed at creating as much exposure for the organisation as possible. This can be through numerous on and offline channels.

Client Details

My client are the thought-leading Professional Association in their field and have a superb reputation. The board members and the SMT are all very commercially minded, and they are looking for someone like-minded to guide the organisations Marketing and brand forward.

My client are based in Central London and boast an incredibly dynamic product and services portfolio - from qualifications, CPD Courses, learning modules (on and offline), Events, Seminars and other learning products that can be ordered online.

My client boast a very large and academic membership base that need to be engaged and informed about industry guidance, thought-leadership and other business services/products etc.

This is a senior role - my client are looking for someone that can come in and assess current marketing/communication team performance and strategies, and from there put together an innovative and forward-thinking marketing strategy to push organisational targets.

The business currently use various means and methods to promote and market their brand and product/service portfolio. They have a solid Social Media presence, but like anything, this can be improved. The board as mentioned before are very open to new ideas and are keen to push forward in a modern way.

The ideal Head of Marketing would be someone that has come from a Membership body/Trade Association/Professional Body - and/or someone that understand how to market with engagement being key. Acquisition and retention are of course huge parts of a membership body, and of course someone that knows how to focus marketing campaigns with these factors in mind would be superb.

Someone that knows how to utilise and maximise all marketing channels, both on and offline - of course you have a wider team to manage and implement a lot of the strategy, but someone that doesn't mind rolling their sleeves up and getting stuck in from time-to-time would be great.

Someone that has managed a team of 2 or more.

The successful Head of Marketing would be confident working with internal functions in order to understand all of the organisations teams and their business aims, as well as how your Marketing function can help them - (and vice-versa).
