A leading Financial Services business in South Wales are looking to add a Internal Communication Officer to the team due to huge growth within the business.


Description

The role holder will be responsible for all internal and external communications through a variety of channels. The role has a wide remit and includes:



* Developing and managing the internal and external communications strategy





* Capitalising on all opportunities for positive media coverage





* Developing engaging, effective communications both internally and externally against the companies strategy and corporate plan, whilst monitoring and reporting on effectiveness





* Supporting colleagues in delivering integrated marketing campaigns from a communication perspective





* Ensuring all communications are developed with sound business intelligence analysis and insight driven data





* Ensuring all outputs are on brand, use the agreed tone of voice and compliant





* To provide PR and content support and assistance to internal departments where required





* Responsible for managing the PR agency, ensuring value for money





* Assist the Senior Marketing Manager with all sponsorship opportunities





* Own and manage the charity of the year plan, ensuring positive coverage is achieved throughout the year





* Assist with ad-hoc event planning and management





* To provide marketing support and assistance to the Senior Marketing Manager where appropriate







Support where appropriate business critical projects


Profile

General PR background and experience



Social media execution and evaluation



Press release management - local, regional and national level

Marketing and customer communications



Understanding of primary social media (Twitter, Facebook, You Tube, LinkedIn)



Working knowledge of MS packages



Excellent written, presentation and verbal influencing skills



Creativity - spotting opportunities for positive media coverage



Excellent attention to detail



Decision making and initiating action



Building multi-stakeholder relationships



Planning and organising



Calm whilst working in a busy environment



Self-motivated and works well as part of a team
