The Product Marketing Lead will administrate and maintain all aspects of the product range presentation and marketing ensuring product, branding, range, packaging, key messages, voice to the customer/consumer, social media presence, imagery and USP's are in line with the business, sales, operational and commercial strategy.

My client has over 50 years experience in manufacturing and supplying a wide range of products within their industry. Servicing customers across the UK and the globe, the business is currently experiencing rapid growth and there are exciting times ahead.


The key responsibilities of the Product Marketing Lead include:

* Support and assist all departments in ensuring that products, packaging, product range, instructions, consumer messages and supporting media are in line with business strategy
* Create and maintain a tool kit of sales aids, presentations, specifications, descriptions, codes, dimensions, weights and all other relevant information
* Create and maintain a product information database including specifications, packaging, range and key messages
* External agency management including marketing, website, packaging and consumer engagement
* Establish, grow and engage with customer database and social media following of product users and potential users in key target markets
* Manage the marketing budget to ensure delivery at or below the planned costing for each activity
* To ensure measurable objectives are set for each marketing activity and reporting back to the business on the delivery/success/failures and learning's


The ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualities:

* Marketing graduate
* Excellent project management skills
* Demonstrable experience in social media management and viral marketing
* Ideally 2-3 years of product marketing or similar role
* Ability to think laterally and problem solve
* Good stakeholder engagement and internal communication
* Experience in Retail and B2B distributor markets is desirable
* Numerate, financially aware with a great eye for detail
* Excellent competency in Microsoft Excel

Job Offer

The Product Marketing Lead offers a basic salary between £30,000 - £40,000
