Job Title: Digital Marketing Executive (Part Time)

Location: Dorking, Surrey

Salary: Competitive

Working Hours: 16 to 20/week to be agreed, flexible working hours

Job Type: Part Time, Permanent

The Company is a well-established manufacturer in Surrey and renowned experts in machining, bonding and finishing of engineering grade plastics. They supply clients ranging from SMEs to global, blue-chip customers in industries including life sciences, medical devices, food & beverage and industrial applications. Over 60% of their parts are exported to Europe, the USA and Asia. The components and assemblies produced, often form the heart of the clients' equipment, so a focus on high quality is a given.

They are currently growing the business and are looking for an experienced digital marketing executive to help shape and deliver their on-line and off-line marketing plan.

The Role:

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for managing the digital marketing campaigns and day-to-day activities to deliver the company growth. There is considerable scope for the individual to help develop the strategy from their experience. You will also be given support for training in certain areas where this is agreed suitable for the role and individual.

Key responsibilities:

* Develop the marketing communications plan with the Managing Director
* Run the social media campaigns (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Blog)
* Create and manage published content
* Support creation and distribution of video content
* Market research
* Lead and manage website design activities
* Manage website SEO (outsourced) including PPC
* Design of exhibition and promotional materials including pre-event marketing
* Support exhibition attendance in the UK and abroad (if possible)
* Reporting on marketing effectiveness against KPIs

Essential Skills and Experience:

* A marketing based qualification
* Proven experience in a B2B digital marketing role
* A willingness to get stuck in and learn
* Sound working knowledge of content generation and management of social media platforms
* Content marketing
* Website editing skills
* SEO experience
* Customer focused attitude and ability to sell the brand
* Strong communication skills both written and verbal
* Copy writing skills
* Creativity and an eye for style and detail
* Recording and reporting statistics on marketing performance

Nice to have:

* Experience in PPC campaign creation and management
* Any manufacturing industry specific experience and knowledge
* A knowledge of any of the key markets (Medical, Life Sciences or Food & Beverage)
