This a great opportunity to work as a Communications Officer in a varied role, working across digital and offline channels with autonomy but also support.

Description

* Writing content for a variety of digital channels including the staff intranet, websites, email newsletters and social media as required. Acting as Intranet Editor and Website Editor ensuring content is regularly refreshed and kept up-to-date.
* Commissioning, managing and delivering content from creative agencies.
* Supporting the team to manage the annual staff conference and any other events.
* Acting as a first point of contact for incoming enquiries for the communications team - both internal and external enquiries.
* Supporting the strategy to grow and develop active and positive social media communities.
* Playing an active role in the team to help promote and enhance the brand.


Profile

The Communications Officer will;

* Have experience of producing written communications for a range of audiences and channels.
* Be an excellent copy-writer and proof-reader, understanding what makes engaging content.
* Be proficient in website and intranet content creation and editing using CMS.
* Be able to interpret complex information and present it in plain and accessible language.
* Have experience of using and developing content for a range of social media channels.


Job Offer

The Communications Officer salary is between £23,000 and £28,000 depending on experience.
