Marketing Automation Executive

About the company:

Better Placed are very excited to recruit for one of the world's leading and most trusted providers of news and market insight. They are currently seeking a Marketing Automation Executive to create and maintain campaigns in Eloqua, and provide key support to the Marketing Data Operations team and support the Marketing Analyst on enterprise projects. You will also oversee data flows in and out of Eloqua and other marketing databases.

Role profile:

-Marketing automation system administration and maintenance and organisation of underlying data objects.

-Technical support and creation of digital assets to enable campaign deployment.

-Reporting on campaign effectiveness to inform on any improvements needed.

-Maintaining system data flows and integrations to support ongoing campaign activity and compliance.

Experience required:

-Proven experience as a "power user" of a business critical RDMS system, e.g. a CRM or digital marketing tool.

-An understanding of why the data in the system is important to the business.

-Able to produce qualitative and quantitative reports based on the contents of the system.

-Experience of coaching or training new users to adhere to quality standards required by a business.

-Exposure to manipulating sales and marketing data using MS Excel and MS Access.

-Considerable experience of working directly with sales and marketing teams.

Strong understanding of how data is used and its contribution to the sales funnel.

-Demonstrates an analytical mind-set and problem-solving abilities.

-Awareness of the Data Protection Act, ICO and PECR guidelines, especially in relation to digital marketing.

-Highly organised and process-orientated approach to tasks.

-Educated to degree level or equivalent.

Desirable:

-Able to take ownership and deliver project or ad-hoc tasks in addition to daily duties.

-Experience with a marketing automation or digital marketing suite.

-Basic knowledge of HTML.
