Michael Page are proud to be partnering with a global food and ingredients business, based near Wakefield, to source a FMCG Brand Manager to join the UK business.


Client Details

Our client is a major international FMCG business with a presence across most of the worlds major continents and excellent investment and support in the UK business.


Description

The Brand Manager will be responsible for establishing, building and developing the company's brands proposition within the retail wholesale and foodservice market UK & Ireland.


Profile

Ideally, the right candidate for the Brand Manager role will possess the following attributes:





* Graduate calibre, ideally educated to degree level with experience of working in Brand Management position. Some experience of sales, category or analysis function within FMCG or retail would also be beneficial.



* Solid experience of working in brand marketing role, with demonstrable skills in working with category manager to analyse and interpret data. This will drive decision making in product launch, re brand, extension or deletion.

* Experience in multi-agency management

* Experience in effective consumer and trade campaigns including social media.



* An effective communicator that can influence and persuade at all levels to drive the desired results.



* An eye for detail and a flair for creative presentation.

* Ability to manage budgets

* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work at all levels across the business.

* Expertise in working with Excel and PowerPoint backed up by a high level of PC literacy.

* Ability to take initiative and accountability.
