Client Details

Our client is a leading organisation with more than 80 years of success in the South West. To continue their track record of success and growth, they have introduced an exciting new strategy to encourage the generation of ideas and the implementation of innovation. To support the introduction of the strategy, an Innovation Coordinator is required to provide process and project support for both internal and external programmes. This full time role will report into the PMO Manager and will provide a defined and agreed service to the business.


Key responsibilities include:

* Support the planning of the company idea campaign portfolio through creating, maintaining and tracking the Integrated Idea Campaign Plan ensuring that the prioritisation and review process is followed by the business
* Perform the Campaign Manager role for cross business and cross functional campaigns
* Analyse idea campaign data, produce reports and metrics that keep the senior stakeholders up to date on innovation programme performance including benefits tracking
* Support the planning, co-ordination and tracking of the external innovation programme when it is launched periodically
* Support the review and delivery of continuous improvements to the innovation processes, both internal and external processes
* Ensure that the innovation processes are documented to the latest standard and refreshed following delivery of continuous improvements
* Support the adoption and embedding of the new processes into the business
* Work with Marketing to ensure that innovation processes are integrated into new proposition development processes
* Work with continuous improvement to ensure that innovation processes are integrated into internal CI processes
* Deliver innovation manager, platform administration training as needed
* Work with Internal Communications to support the delivery of the innovation communications plan
* Build strong relationships with functions and sites to support the delivery of innovation
* Support the development of the innovation proposition, managing the update of associated documentation to the update calendar
* Manage the library of innovation process and bid collateral and case studies, ensuring this are completed for approved innovation delivery


The successful Innovation Coordinator will have:

* A proven track record in ideas or change management
* An understanding of the use of crowd sourcing platforms for innovation management and the creation and running of idea campaigns
* A proven track record in working cross functionally and with a dispersed business to implement innovation and track innovation benefits
* A commercial mind combined with an understanding of business case development and benefits tracking
* A background of implementing and embedding new and improved processes
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong relationship building skills
