Your responsibilities as a Corporate Communications Manager are to be the main creator and guardian of a corporate speech, both for internal and external audiences in the national and international scene, managing all relations with media and agencies that the firm works with and work closely with senior partners and other firms' members, to raise general profile of the company at all time.

Our client is a professional services firm specialised in legal services associated mainly with intellectual property.


Your responsibilities as a Corporate Communications Manager are:

* Manage and execute proactive and responsive communications activities that support the firm's vision, mission, strategies and key business goals Proactively manage the activity of individual profit centres' projects, including BD campaigns.
* Oversee and coordinate PR for the organisation both in the UK and overseas.
* Act as a spokesperson for the organisation in the media and to key stakeholders where appropriate.
* Ensure the appropriate dissemination of information across the business, including business critical information and regular management updates.
* Coordinate and manage internal resourcing to ensure the website content is kept up to date, accurate and fresh.


Based in central London or Birmingham, the Corporate Communications Manager requires:

* Previous experience (5 years expected) in corporate communications position.
* Previous experience working with media, and proven ability to write and manage the development of news, technical and other content for internal and external purposes;
* Experience of managing third party providers to budget, time and quality standards;
* Self-starter with confidence to network;
* Good persuasion skills, with the capacity to approach to peers and senior partners.
