Michael Page have exclusively been assigned to search for a Head of Category & Insights for a FMCG business based in Hertfordshire.


Client Details

Our client is a well-known FMCG business based in Hertfordshire.


Description

The Head of Category & Insights will be responsible for customer marketing, insights and category, covering all key retailer accounts. They will manage a team of six including both Category Manager and Insight Managers.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Ensure the Category team is a trusted partner with their external "Customers"
* Lead an Insights team driving a 'shopper first' mentality throughout the organisation, supported by qualitative and quantitative research and analysis
* To surface customer and category "Insights" which are used to deliver scale category growth plan recommendations and solutions
* Full day to day category management and Insights responsibilities for the category
* Working closely with sales and marketing to ensure targets are met


Profile

The ideal Head of Category & Insights will be at Head of Level at a small to medium sized FMCG business and be managing a team. The ideal candidate will have experience in category, shopper marketing and insights.


Job Offer

The Head of Category & Insights can expect to receive a basic salary of between £70-80K plus benefits including a generous car allowance.
