Head of Insights
Are you passionate about influencing consumer behaviour? A well-known consumer goods retailer in the North East is looking for an experienced and passionate Head of Insight to join its fast paced and dynamic business.
The business is currently going through an exciting time and this role will be responsible for understanding consumer and customers and identifying and interpreting detailed consumer insights and trends to drive business innovation and growth.
This role is not a reporting role but a role centred on true consumer understanding and driving campaign direction and innovation as a result of these insights. They will be responsible for running day-to-day research projects across all areas of quant and qual research and should own brand tracker research and any ad-hoc research into consumer shopping habits. Working in collaboration with the other functions such as Commercial Analytics and PPC it will support on performance and bring foresight in to recommendations about spend and optimising ROI.
You will be required to possess the following skills and experience:
-Insights and consumer understanding expert, passionate about translating consumer data from disparate sources into actionable recommendations, driving business growth
-Extensive experience in innovation and insights, including category data (IRI, Nielsen, Kantar), psychographic, brand equity and loyalty data, and a full suite of quantitative and qualitative ad hoc research methodologies
-Proven track record of influencing at the highest level within complex matrix organisations
-Experience of leading Insights input into commercial planning process including consumer and category trends analysis to identify product and brand positioning inadequacies of current portfolio and brand development program
-Experience of providing key insight into the customer journey paths and insight into the best way to match customer needs with brand offers
