Finpro helps Finnish SMEs go international, encourages foreign direct investment in Finland and promotes travel to Finland. Our almost 240 professionals work in 37 Trade Centers in 31 countries and 6 offices in Finland.                                                                                         

As our market representative in UK is retiring, we are now looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sales & Marketing Executive for the UK to reinforce Finpro's Visit Finland global sales promotion team. Visit Finland´s global sales promotion team works around the world on promoting Finland as travel destination for the b-to-b sector together with our Finnish partners and travel professionals abroad.

Are you our new UK Sales & Marketing Executive?

You have a vision of what direction sales and sales promotion activities should be taken in order to identify new sales channels to benefit the Finnish travel industry. You preferably have experience in both offline and online travel sales as well as a good understanding of b-to-c marketing in the travel industry.

You are a creative and forward-looking thinker and doer. In this position, your tasks include the execution, planning, development, co-ordination and project management of sales activities. You have worked in similar positions before and you follow the industry closely and are passionate about constantly developing your own skills and expertise. You are also comfortable working in a multinational environment.

In order to succeed in this position, we expect you to have:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in the travel industry and / or in airline sales in the b-to-b sector. A background in the online travel business is expected.
  • Excellent b-to-b sales and sales promotion skills and the ability to work and network with a large community of partners.
  • Good negotiation, project management, communications and presentation skills
  • Good command of office and digital tools (CRM, MS Office etc.) and experience in budgeting
  • Good self-management but also team work skills
  • Possibility to travel
  • Higher education
