A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work for an education institution as a Marketing Manager on a 12 month FTC. Supporting a key faculty, this role gives complete autonomy to define and create your own marketing plan and budgets.

Client Details

Our client is a leading educational institution based in South West London/Surrey. They are a vibrant organisation who have excellent parking facilities or alternatively are on the South West Train line from Waterloo.


The Marketing Manager will work within the central marketing and communications team but will work as a business partner to support a key faculty within the institution.

The successful candidate will advise on, research, plan and manage a range of strategic and integrated activities within the overarching Student Recruitment Marketing Strategy and Plan. These include analysing market needs, planning and producing advertising and direct marketing campaigns and planning and promoting major events such as University-wide Open Days and Applicant Days for prospective students.

This is a very autonomous role and you will have the autonomy to write a marketing plan and manage the budgets accordingly. This role has the ability to be creative, and gives the opportunity for new and exciting ideas to be implemented.


The successful candidate will be an experience Marketing Manager, having experience of writing marketing plans and managing budgets. It is essential you have previous line management experience as you will be managing an Executive in this role.

The ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation is essential. Experience of working with academics is preferable but not essential. Experience of working with Videographers, good content writing and managing the relationship with agencies is also essential.

A proactive nature and being a self starter is really important in this role. Excellent communications skills, the ability to think creatively and to manage a busy workload is essential.

Whilst HE/FE experience is highly desirable, it is not essential.

Job Offer

Up to £42,000 with excellent benefits!

This is an urgent role so requires a start by the middle of July at the latest
