Reporting to the Senior Vice President, the Vice President Sales & Marketing provides strategic directive, guidance and leadership on Sales & Marketing concepts and operational decisions for the company that supports the mission, vision and values.

The Vice President, Sales & Marketing will be responsible for the following:

* Develop a Sales & Marketing strategy & vision for the region
* Provide strategic direction, guidance and support on sales and marketing concepts and operational decisions for designated region.
* Validate pre-opening budgets and preforms in conjunction with Revenue Management for new developments.
* Manage the pre-opening sales and marketing function to support managed and franchise hotels.
* Work in conjunction with Country VP Sales and Marketing to drive top line performance and shift market share for key assets.
* Active participation in annual budget and marketing plan process.
* Conduct annual strategic property reviews for key assets.
* Foster relationships with Owners to instil confidence demonstrating the brands value proposition.
* Attract and retain senior sales leaders and drive colleague engagement.
* Approve and monitor sales incentive program ensuring maximum participation and results.
* Develop tactical campaigns to support hotels in need.
* Manage all Sales & Marketing related activities with team: Revenue Management, PR & Communication, Digital Marketing, Sales, Loyalty, Partnerships & Business Analytics
* Develop relevant strategies and tactics which result in creative revenue generation and improvement, lowered costs, increased efficiency and improved operating margin
* Maintain and continuously improve product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations
