This is a senior PR position, perfect for a hands-on individual who will be capable playing an active role in the roll-out of the firm's online media strategy and policy, supporting the PR manager with campaign design and delivery.

You will be responsible for generating coverage in the UK through the development of press-facing collateral, and working with international and regional colleagues to drive coverage elsewhere.

Responsible for advising the relevant sector head and the firm's Business Development team, as a Senior PR advisor you will be responsible for:

Media relations
*To ensure PR and thought leadership activity is aligned with overall firm, sector and practice business development plans.
* To achieve coverage in UK national and broadcast media, and key trade and vertical publications through the development of press-facing collateral (e.g. press releases, articles and other briefings) and work with the Locations team and international PR support to drive coverage elsewhere.
* To identify and establish strong working relationships with key target journalists, and facilitate relationships between spokespeople and key media through introductions, meetings and relevant pre-briefings.
* To organise and run media training for spokespeople as appropriate.
* To ensure accurate and regular reporting of PR activity across the Sector and into central management, benchmarking results against agreed objectives.
* To contribute towards the continued success of the firm's Awards strategy in support of the sector.
* To work closely with the internal communications function to ensure consistency of messages and coordination of timing of key announcements relevant to your Sector.

Press office development
* To support the PR Manager on an ad hoc basis (for instance during absence or in crisis communication).
* To play an active role in the evolution and roll-out of the firm's online media strategy and policy.
* To play a lead role in helping the team to deliver creative solutions to the business relating to PR issues, and inculcate a best practice methodology for campaign design and delivery with the team

Ideally you will:

- Be renowned for your strong working relationships
- Have outstanding previous PR experience in a corporate environment.
- Degree educated; IPR or CIM qualified, or equivalent level experience
