Brand Manager – Foodservice B2B
c.£38K-£45K + Strong Benefits Package + Bonus

Developing marketing and brand strategies that deliver growth for the foodservice division of this global FMCG business is the challenge of this exciting role.  Our client is investing in the massive foodservice channel - delivering new brand, product, packaging and marketing initiatives across its portfolio of packaged foods to the catering, restaurant and casual dining sector.  This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially savvy marketer with strong B2B skills, gained in food & drink or perhaps in DIY, tech/electricals, telecoms or financial services, to take a fast-developing channel to a new level, understanding market sectors, drivers and issues and identifying opportunities for market entry, share growth and NPD.

Skills Checklist

  • Educated to degree level with a minimum of c.3-4 years solid marketing experience, some or all of which will have been gained in a B2B role.
  • Strong creative and analytical thinking skills with the ability to develop clear insight-based promotional and innovation strategies and the influencing skills to secure buy-in to your ideas.
  • Commercial savvy is key: this is a role in which you’ll have close contact with customers and will need to build strong informal and formal relationships to ensure the success of your marketing initiatives.
  • You will be passionate about NPD with real entrepreneurial drive and the ability to think strategically but also deliver consistent operational results.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with an energetic, positive ‘can do’ attitude to new challenges; someone who takes ownership and gets things done with pace.
