To be responsible for project managing individual direct marketing campaigns and to
work with the Direct Marketing Manager, the other Direct Marketing Officers and the
Fundraising Database Officers to ensure that our donor development and donor
acquisition programmes are effective and generate maximum income within agreed
expenditure budgets.

To take lead responsibility for effective project managing individual direct
marketing campaigns including appeals & newsletters off/on line, raffles, lotteries
and competition websites, telemarketing, F2F, e-mail broadcast and social

To be responsible for, sourcing agencies and project managing new fundraising
initiatives, such as DRTV, social media marketing, pay per click (PPC)
campaigns, crowdfunding, programmatic advertising, content sharing and mobile

To be responsible for sourcing case studies, liaising with suppliers, coordinating
the data for all DM campaigns, proof checking and copywriting for all print
materials and digital content. Ensuring all elements are completed to agreed
timescales and within agreed expenditure budgets and KPIs

To be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote tax
effective w ays of giving, including Gift Aid and Gift of Shares, with a
working know ledge of regulations and procedures.

Devise, update and deliver training packages to in house teams and staff
employed by external agencies that are providing fundraising services.

To gain quotes, assess quality and source print and fulfilment services where
appropriate and effectively communicate fulfilment requirements for
telemarketing, mailing and digital campaigns with the appropriate teams.

To deputise for the Direct Marketing Manager as required from time to time.

To be responsible for ensuring that all enquiries from supporters are dealt
with in an appropriate and timely way.

To develop collaborative working relationships with other Departments within the
organisation for the purpose of gaining support and co-operation in relation
to fundraising activities whilst contributing to the Charity wider message program.

To play an important role w ithin the Direct Marketing team and be
enthusiastic and committed to reaching the team's objectives and income


* Ability to organise a busy workload and prioritise tasks to
meet deadlines
* Ability to carry out research, compile reports and analyse
* Ability to form and maintain good working relationships both
internally and externally
* Experience of direct marketing with an emphasis on digital
fundraising and social media
