Marketing Communications Co-ordinator job -South west London 1 year FTC -£27,598 - £31,601 to start ASAP

Job Role To assist the International Development Office in the achievement of its strategic direction, specifically with activities relating to marketing, recruitment and international students' events. Main Duties of the role

* Marketing communications co-ordination
* Relationships management
* Events management
* To work alongside and together with other International Marketing Support Co-ordinators in their "specialist" areas.
* To support the planning and implementation of the marketing & recruitment activities undertaken by the Regional Managers / International Officers

* Source stories, edit content and produce newsletter / bulletin (quarterly overseas representatives' e-newsletter, and other internal newsletter)
* Support with copywriting and proofing email content for recruitment campaigns
* Update content for international related publications
* Liaise with country specialists to obtain up to date information in order to update the International webpages of the corporate website, and the internal website webpages
* Plan, monitor, post and respond to enquiries on the International generic social media platforms
* Liaise with third party website owners and keep an up to date profile on their websites
* Build, manage and maintain a strong, up-to-date bank of student and alumni profiles
* Monitor performance of our marketing communication activities (i.e. Google Analytics, Dotmailer, FB Insights etc.)
* Assist with overall execution of the international marketing communications plan
* Coordinating webinars, live chats and virtual fairs
* Provide cover for the International Marketing Communications Manager for important marketing and/or communications meetings and working groups (cross-faculty/central)
* Support the marketing and recruitment activities of the Regional Managers / International Officers in key markets, for example, market research, planning and managing the logistics of the activities, liaison with representatives and fair organisers.
* Assist with external scanning of international markets (e.g. mystery shopping and competitor analysis)
* Ensure efficient handling of enquiries from potential applicants, representatives and other key stakeholders

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the below:-

* Educated to degree level or equivalent

* Experience in the higher education / international marketing
* Experience in communications / executing campaigns
* Highly organised and use initiative to manage projects (eg. services, events, people) methodically and effectively.
* Excellent oral and written communications, with strong skills in writing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy
* Excellent presentation skills to potential / current students
* Ability to work under the pressure of setting up multiple schemes under time constraints
* Proven ability to review practices and procedures and to develop ways of improving efficiency and service standards
* The ability to multi-task, have good organisational and communication skills and be a team player.
* Excellent IT skills in MS Office
* Passion and patience in engaging with international students
* Previous experience of working in higher education or the public sector
