The company are a highly respected FMCG food giant who are well known for their excellent marketing campaigns. They have always stayed at the forefront of trends and accordingly are now wanting a talented marketer to come in and guide their online category management whilst refocusing their shopper activation strategy.

The role will be to develop and implement initiatives to improve the shopper experience across online channels, to effectively communicate category plans and improve e-commerce category leadership to be a trusted partner for online customers. The role will initially focus on the Asda and Tesco accounts but has scope to roll out to the full online retail mix. There is great creative control over this role and the exact scope and focus of the role is in part determined by what you think is best.

You must be an expert in analysing and interpreting data and be confident in presenting your findings back. You should also have working knowledge of developing and implementing shopper marketing activity. Working with data providers like dunnhumby, Tesco link and retail link would be beneficial but not essential. Similarly a background in FMCG category management or marketing would be a plus but experience outside of this will still be considered.
