Client Details



To project manage and deliver marketing and communication campaign activities in response to the strategic plans created by the Head of Marketing.

This will be delivered by understanding the strategic requirements for each project/campaign and then engaging and managing the outputs of the marketing services team internally and any agencies externally in order to deliver campaign objectives.

* Be the key marketing contact between the company and Marketing Services, managing stakeholders across both business units in order to deliver integrated campaigns.

* Respond to each project brief given by the Head of Marketing and Marketing Manager and develop measurable campaign briefs and deliver these into Marketing Services.

* Fully brief Marketing Services and coordinate their team resources to create successful, measurable and tactical marketing plans for each integrated marketing campaign by:

* Recommending appropriate marketing and communications tools and activities and co-ordinate these cross functionally.

* Providing each of the teams within Marketing Services with clear, concise and approved briefs to fulfil the campaigns.

* Co-ordinating and managing the output from each team and presenting back to the Head of Marketing

* Managing all campaign expenditure across Marketing Services and with external suppliers

* Developing realistic marketing schedules and delivering to these

* Collating results from integrated campaigns

* Provide effective solutions to deliver the best overall project outcome for the business.

* Introduce creative thought to marketing communications for all campaigns

* Produce/deliver successful, measurable and tactical marketing plans for each marketing campaign brief.

* Manage the brand values and objectives as defined by the Brand Guidelines, as well as 'look & feel' for each campaign

* Ensure that campaigns tracking and measurement is in place and report on results with recommendations for future activities.

* Benchmark the costs of proposed marketing/communications campaigns against external suppliers to provide a choice of solutions to the business's, and promote best practice across marketing services.


* Degree / equivalent level education in Marketing subject

* Account Management experience, ideally within a creative agency environment

* Previous experience of working within the leisure and B2B sectors is preferable

* Ability to create detailed marketing campaigns plans for a complex business in a competitive and testing market

* Ability to create all elements of a marketing campaign using the full marketing mix and effective communications

* Ability to build and maintain strong client and agency relationships interchangeably

* Experience of managing external suppliers, including understanding of the media buying process

* Strong organisation and time management skills

* Strong project management skills and ability to prioritise several tasks

* Excellent personal communication skills both verbally and written

* Experience of using content management systems to update websites

* Ability to use effective management tools to report on activity results, expenditure, resourcing and scheduling

* Able to participate fully in the wider team, and also to work autonomously

* Self awareness; self starter; flexible, responsive, determined, and a completer finisher
