Internal Communications Lead (EMEA)

£45000 - £50000 (Plus Bonus and extensive benefits)

Carter Murray is currently partnering with a leading multinational organisation who have an opportunity within their Communications team for a creative and commercial Internal Communications lead.

Reporting to the Senior European PR Manager, you will be involved with the development and execution of an engaging and measurable internal communications plan and providing support to the external PR team.

The role will include managing and evolving a strong platform of digital and face to face channels to communicate effectively with employees, investigate and build an effective internal process whereby content is created and used, manage the internal Magazine from writing and collating articles through to managing the agency on its design and production. As stated this is a commercial position, so you will ensure the implementation of metrics to measure ROI and review effectiveness of existing communication channels and activities.

External communications will include you participating in the idea generation and Thought Leadership campaign process and where appropriate contribute to external communication materials like press releases, social media content, Q&A documents etc. Other exciting areas will include partnering with the Brand Strategy manager, HR and CSR to promote the employee brand at different employee relations events and providing hands on support to sponsorship events.

You will be ideally degree qualified with proven experience in a dedicated communications role e.g. corporate communications, PR or Internal Communications (IC) Your background will include developing targeted written communications such as employee magazines and have the commercial acumen to communicate and translate business strategies and complex messages into memorable ones. A background of international communications would be advantageous. Solid experience of creating content for digital platforms is a pre-requisite - such as internet, extranet and managed 3rd party suppliers. The client is open to your sector background. Planning experience is essential.
