Social Media Manager
Our client is embarking on an exciting transformation of it's digital infrastructure and footprint. The business continues to grow and diversify and as such the company is building a 'best in class' digital marketing team to capitalise on sector opportunities. The Social Media Manager role will be integral in the success of this this team and for the profile of business. The household brand that the post holder will manage (online) makes this both an exciting and high profile role. The position will be extremely diverse and will include both the production and deployment of compelling content. The main purpose however will be the development of a social media strategy and ensuring the management of these channels delivers strong commercial leads for the business. Working closely with agencies and within the campaign marketing team this role will be instrumental in ensuring that social media is at the forefront of the business. The post holder will keep a keen eye to the metrics and insight to recommend appropriate dialogue and responses to consumers and journalists. The role will particularly appeal to candidates who enjoy seeing the direct impact of their work in the success of a growing business. Expert and up to date in Social Media Channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Linkedin in particular) the candidate must have a passion for their subject matter and its reach. Equally advantageous will be the ability to write interesting and varied content to post and blog to the relevant audiences.
