This organisation is looking for a Direct Marketing Officer to join their well-established team in central London.

Client Details

This organisation is a well-known children's charity that carries out ground-breaking work.


Key Responsibilities:

* Book agency briefings, attend meetings capturing minutes where necessary.
* Develop a suite of templates to manage project delivery.
* Support with proofing of campaign assets, both print, digital and data.
* Collaborate with Directorate administrator on fulfilment, checking fulfilment matrices and proofing laser tests.
* Establish key reports using the internal reporting tools and monitor results, escalating where required.
* Assist with the day-to-day financial management of campaigns and reconciliation of income and imports.
* Act as first response to key partners, suppliers and internal teams.
* Collaborate with the supporter services team to update and refresh all letter copy in line with the charity's new brand identity.
* Deliver the regular giving, cash and legacy welcome communications at the direction of the Senior Retention Officer and the Senior Stewardship Executive.
* Support the high standards of governance in data management, assisting with the process of documenting data storage and checking for accuracy.
* Work closely with the Operations team to reconcile campaign income.
* Support the Charity's permission marketing campaign preparing the charity for GDPR compliance
* Support the Charity's Econometric project to optimise it's media planning and buying working with the data analytics team to deliver the required datasets.
* Provide high quality administrative support to multiple projects to enable the projects to run efficiently and effectively.
* Set up meetings with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
* Provide minutes and status reports, and to actively track project actions.
* Manage any other ad-hoc admin tasks required by the department.


Person Specification:

* Excellent eye for detail and systematic approach to work
* Able to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences whether by phone, email or in person
* Able to organise meetings, coordinating all aspects.
* Able to make the best use of time particularly when under pressure from competing challenges, prioritising tasks effectively.
* Able to identify and act on opportunities for continually improving ways of working.
* Able to take meeting contact reports from meetings clearly and concisely.
* Experience of liaising with staff at all levels in external organisations, particularly to support partnership working.
* Experience of working with MS Office, specifically with advanced skills in Word, Excel
* Ability to provide high quality proofing
* Experience of working within a Direct Marketing environment
* Passion for copywriting and editing of all forms of written communications

Job Offer

This organisation is looking to offer a salary of between £24,000 and £25,500, depending on experience.
