An exciting opportunity for a Head of Marketing to join the team of this growing property business in Birmingham.

A growing property business seeking to engage a Head of Marketing.


The Head of Marketing will lead a team of specialists across Marketing and Communications within this growing property business in central Birmingham.

Key accountabilities include:

* Creating and maintaining a global market strategic overview that provides a reference point for the business and product strategies.

* Utilising market analysis, competitor and adviser research in order to inform the strategic overview.

* Bridging the gap between marketing activities and sales propositions to ensure consistency of message to customers and prospects.

* Acting as the focal point driving the positive and productive interaction between sales and product development activities.

* Participating in industry events, writing and managing articles for publication within industry press in order to drive brand awareness.

* Developing and communicating thought provoking analysis and commentary about the marketplace.

* Managing the development of, and contributing to content and thought leadership for marketing collateral, white papers and sales bids.

* Ensuring that all reporting is done to standard and in a timely manner.

* Growing, developing and leading the marketing team and managing the entire marketing workflow from strategy through execution and measurement.

* Supporting the professional development of individuals within the Strategy and Marketing team as required.


The successful candidate for the role of Head of Marketing will have extensive experience of leading a team of Marketing professionals and setting the strategic direction of the department. In addition to this you will possess:

* Deep industry insight into and experience of the software, general insurance and/or financial services sectors. UK experience is essential. Global experience would be advantageous.

* Extensive experience of market analysis, strategy definition and proposition development

* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

* Excellent presentation skills, including senior external meetings, industry conferences and marketing events

* Proven team leadership and budget management skills.
