An exciting Senior Digital Marketing Executive opportunity has arisen at a leading law firm in the South East for a digital marketing executive maternity cover (9 - 12 months), to manage the development and execution of the firm's digital marketing activity. The key area of development will be social media, including Twitter and LinkedIn but the role will also encompass the firm's website and managing the flow of relevant digital information.

Based in the BD & Marketing team, and reporting to the Head of Business Development and Marketing, you will work with departments and sectors across the firm to raise the profile and maximise the benefits of digital media channels to help enhance the firm's online brand awareness, engage with key target audiences and to measure the success/ROI of digital marketing activities.

* To develop, implement, maintain and manage the firm's digital/social media communications plan and strategy across all channels, to increase followers and client engagement:
* To prioritise content and decide on suitability for different stakeholder groups (to include making strategic decisions on how to best place digital content);
* To manage the flow of content from across the firm to the appropriate digital and social media outlets through the firm's Content Management System and by producing HTML emails;
* To produce and edit eye-catching digital content, ensuring all communication is on brand;
* To maintain a high level of engagement and real time response to social interactions;
* To liaise and project manage third party agencies; and
* To keep up-to-date with industry trends.
* To be responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm's website and internal intranet:
* Management of analytics across all digital and social media platforms, providing monthly reports to enable the development of the firm's digital strategy throughout the year
* To oversee the use and development of the firm's internet platform and other external client extranets/portals and mircro-sites, as and when required.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated and assertive. You must have excellent oral and verbal communication, organisational and administrative skills, allied to the ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure, often on several projects at a time. You will also require a team-focused attitude, a high attention to detail. IT proficiency (including HTML, CMS platforms, Adobe, InDesign, PhotoShop and Illustrator), a detailed knowledge of social media is also vital as is having a good eye for design.

You will have responsibility for a wide range of digital projects and thus the role is ideally suited to someone with experience of managing digital marketing/social media campaigns and corporate websites/intranets. Experience in the legal profession would be an advantage.
