Michael Page have been assigned to find a suitable Marketing Assistant for our well known FMCG client. Our client is a well known FMCG business, with well established distribution channels and excellent position in the market. Their products are sold in most of the major food retailers and are a market leader. The ideal Marketing Assistant will be hard working and be proactive in the workplace.

Client Details

Our client has been operating for over 125 years. Our client produces high quality products that are sold in all major food retailers and beauty retailers. They continue to see demand rise for their products and have seen recent growth as they extended their product range.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* To monitor and update social media to grow engagement with target market
* To support the sales team with marketing materials
* To monitor and update website content, responding to website enquiries, customer complaints and recipe booklet requests
* To work on packaging requirements (labels, trays, shrink wrap)
* To implement quarterly e-newsletter mailing to database
* Manage and build relationships with suppliers and agencies
* Assist with New Product Development including desk research to qualify opportunities, sampling of products
* To manage and promote the online order system, updating product range and fulfilling orders
* To plan, promote and coordinating club events.


The ideal candidate will be hard working, keen to learn and develop their skills. It is desirable to have previoously have worked in an internship or graduate scheme, but it is not essential.

Job Offer

The Hertfordshire based Marketing Assistant can expect to receive a basic salary of between £18-£24K, plus additional benefits.
