Senior Marketing Executive - Brand Team

Greater London - Zone 4

Up to £35k per annum

Full-time, permanent

Do you have 3 or more years' experience in brand marketing, coupled with excellent commercial acumen and creative flair? Are you a pet owner or enthusiast, with the ability to empathise with customers seeking the best pet insurance product for their companion's needs? If so, we have an ideal opportunity, based within the brand team of a market leading, global insurance brand!

The purpose of the role will be to maximise brand awareness and exposure within their pet insurance line and will involve brand management, marketing communications, social media, PR and internal brand engagement. You will play a key part in strengthening brand engagement, brand positioning, and driving sales engagement within the dog, cat, rabbit and horse insurance products.

Key responsibilities:

-Delivering a brand marketing plan in line with agreed business objectives.

-Responsibility for media promotion across TV, social, digital and print mediums, including content development and managing placements and reporting.

-Overseeing day to day brand management activities, including brand guidelines, messaging, collateral, imagery and brand positioning to ensure consistency and build brand equity.

-Full campaign planning and execution alongside key internal stakeholders and agencies, ensuring activity is delivered on time and to budget.

-Day to day management of external PR agency, and delivering PR activity to support campaigns and drive brand awareness.

-Copy-writing and reviewing content for a range of communications, including blog posts, social media output, customer communications and digital.

-Daily management of strategic brand partnerships to maximise benefits for the brand.

What you'll need:

-Copy-writing skills and excellent attention to details and grammar.

-Proven ability to manage projects autonomously.

-Leadership and influencing skills.

-Experience in working with external PR or marketing agencies.

-Experience of working within a cross-functional team and managing stakeholder relationships.

-Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and presentation.

-Confident in use of the full MS Office suite.

-Experienced in using Hootsuite and social media monitoring tools.

-Highly motivated and enthusiastic with a positive and engaging manner.

-Strong numerical skills with the ability to interpret and interpret data.

-Enthusiastic about brands and communication, with up-to-date knowledge of what is happening in the field of marketing and championing the importance of brand.

-Experience of delivering market-leading activity in a project-based environment, managing multiple priorities at any one time.

-A natural communicator and leader in the context of a project team. Able to influence in a positive way at all levels.


-Educated to Bachelor's Degree level or similar - ideally 2:1 or above, with a track record of academic success.
