About the job

Reporting to the Brand Director, you will be responsible for presenting Bravissimo’s brand to get our message, spirit and purpose widely known and understood to both the wider public and Bravissimo’s employees.

You will secure high quality national and local media coverage across both on and offline media that accurately reflects our brand values, increases understanding of the experience we provide for our customers and drives people to our website, shops and social channels.  A key part of the role is to identify opportunities to get Bravissimo out there to people who don’t know us and to develop good relationships with media contacts, journalists, bloggers and other partners.  You will play an important part in the launch of new shops and spreading the word about the in-store experience we offer.  You will manage all enquiries to our press office, prioritising opportunities and ensuring that all enquiries are handled in a timely manner.  You will continually measure the effectiveness of your work so you are able to manage your time and budget appropriately to meet your objectives.

As well as raising awareness externally, you will work with the HR team to ensure that our brand personality, values and company culture are well reflected in all communications with both current and prospective employees so that everyone who works for Bravissimo understands our purpose and what we’re about.

About you
We are looking for someone who is passionate about our brand and has empathy for our customers, delighting in creating conversations and spreading the word about Bravissimo.  You will be friendly and personable with a natural authority and be fantastic at developing relationships to raise awareness of our brand.

You should have lots of creative ideas and enthusiasm for communicating our brand values and purpose.  You need to be highly articulate and a really talented writer who is a stickler for correct spelling and grammar.  You must be able to adopt the right tone of voice for Bravissimo and have an innate understanding of what our customers will find inspiring, helpful, reassuring or funny.  You will also need a good eye for design and understand what is aspirational and current as well as what is appropriate for our brand.

To be considered for the role, you need to be educated to degree level or equivalent and have considerable consumer PR experience, ideally within a retail environment.
