As the Senior Events Fundraiser, the role sits within the newly created Special Events Team which is part of the Philanthropy and Funding Development directorate. You will be responsible for supporting the Special Events Manager and working across other departments to deliver a range of committee led, high value events.

Description

* Design and implement a range of specialist multi-year giving programmes, initiatives and/or events that provide continuity of income streams.
* Managing a portfolio of key corporate relationships, and/or volunteer led fundraising committees to securing funding and network introductions at the highest level.
* Provide oversight and effective stewardship of relationships, ensuring outstanding donor care and encouraging further involvement in national, regional, outcome charitable service delivery programmes.
* Manage relationships to demonstrate accountability to donors, supporters and volunteers.
* Monitor and analyse financial income and expenditure reports for each individual, account or event.
* Research and development new prospects identifying a pipeline of opportunities.
* Identify and secure a range of budget relieving Gift in Kind and Pro Bono opportunities ensuring that the personal and/or brand exposure from such activities is commensurate to the value of the gift.


Profile

Demonstrable experience of working on high value events, working in a creative and autonomous way with proven success.


Job Offer

Salary is between £30,000 and £33,000 depending on experience.
