Unique opportunity to join a leading Estate Agency in London as a PR Executive.

Client Details

High profile Estate Agency based in central London.


As the PR Executive for this leading Estate Agency in London you will deliver innovative PR campaigns and generate regular, positive trade and consumer media coverage for the brand.

Key responsibilities include:

* Position the company as a leading agent in the mid-upper property market, with a focus on developing the company's profile in the prestige and family house market.
* Implement the current PR & communications plan and improve with new ideas.
* Write detailed press releases and produce exclusive media materials for company projects and announcements.
* Monitor publication schedules and proactively pitch new ideas, interesting properties, and market trends to generate regular positive coverage in the trade and consumer media.
* Anticipate and react to industry news and developments on which the company is well-placed to comment. React quickly and appropriately to journalists' requests seeking case studies.
* Coordinate and edit the regular company Franchising newsletter, comprising Head Office department updates and distribute to company branches.
* Develop and maintain good relationships with a wide range of industry journalists/publications.
* Maintain strong working relationships with all key stakeholders including the CEO, Chairman, and the Directors of the company franchises.
* Develop the communication between press office and franchises to improve the involvement and understanding of PR across the company network.
* Achieve expert commentator status for the company and individual spokespeople, thus ensuring the company is the point of call for members of the press seeking comment and analysis.
* Control the company message and manage the company's profile externally.
Attend all company and industry events in a PR capacity.
* Prepare company entries for industry awards.
* Internally promote the achievements of the press office and prepare relevant communications for the board.


The successful PR Executive for my client in London will have either in-house PR experience within Property or an agency with Property clients.

Key skills/attributes:

* Achieved a degree of 2:1 or higher.
* At least 2 years in-house or agency PR experience.
* Excellent written and communication skills.
* Hardworking, down to earth individual who learns fast and relishes new challenges.
* Ability to juggle a number of different tasks at once in a busy press office.
* Creative with the drive to find the next story, develop feature ideas and promotion strategies.
* Ability to work well under pressure and has a strong track record of meeting deadlines.
* Strong team player who can also make decisions independently and work on own initiative.
* Energetic, personable and adaptable.
* Ambitious - the right candidate will rise to the challenge of this position and thrive on the freedom they are given to develop and manage the PR department.
