International Brand Manager – Healthy Snacks

Fab opportunity for smart, ambitious FMCG marketer to take on an exciting, busy and highly visible role within this very successful, rapidly growing snacks business with products available in major stores across the UK.  With a number of innovative ranges spanning the kids and adult markets, our client has a huge commitment to developing healthy, delicious, additive-free products, made from the highest quality ingredients, and needs a brand passionate marketing star who can truly embrace this vision and help drive the brand into international markets in Europe, The Middle East and beyond.  In what is a fast-paced, fun and entrepreneurial environment, you’ll play a key role, working with external distributors to develop marketing initiatives, and ensuring they are getting behind the brand to secure distribution in new markets.  If you are looking for the next step up, and like the idea of an entrepreneurial role in a dynamic business that is truly going places fast, this could be the role you’ve been waiting for.  

Responsibilities include

  • Project managing launches into new markets from start to finish, in collaboration with the London team and managers and partners in other markets 
  • Manage international packaging updates to bring the brand to life in different markets and ensure compliance with packaging legislation for that territory 
  • Work with the Marketing Director to set and then implement the international marketing strategy and then work with local marketing teams to create launch and marketing plans for each specific country. 
  • Work closely with the internal creative team and external agencies to bring brands to life for new consumers across the world, delivering unique, disruptive creative from packaging to POS
  • Create and maintain excellent relationships with local teams and distributors, continually building their passion for the various brands & ranges

Key Skills Checklist

We’re looking for a talented, ambitious International Brand Manager who will throw himself/herself into this fab role.  This is what we are looking for:

  • At least 3-4 years brand marketing experience with an ability to think creatively and commercially 
  • Passionate and people focused, able to build relationships quickly and excite others with your natural passion and enthusiasm.
  • Excellent project management skills – able to manage multiple stakeholders to deliver a great result 
  • Dynamic and effective, able to prioritise quickly in a fast moving, entrepreneurial environment 
  • Great negotiating skills and persistence to overcome issues and obstacles 
  • Strong problem solving skills- a blend of brave, gutsy creative brainpower and practical attitude. You have amazing ideas but know what is practical and will really work!
  • An attention to detail, and the confidence to work independently. 
  • Language skills are useful but not essential.  A grasp of French, German, Dutch or Nordic languages would be a bonus.
