Michael Page are proud to be partnering with an award-winning FMCG market leader based in Sheffield, who is seeking a Commercial Brand Manager to execute the strategy on one of their large licensed brand portfolios

Client Details

Our client is a major FMCG player in the UK, with numerous manufacturing sites covering Ambient, Frozen and Chilled products.


The key purpose of the Commercial Brand Manager will be to execute and continually develop the licensed brand strategy, to unlock continuous profitable growth.

More specific accountability will be as follows:

* Continuously making things happen by using trends and insights to identify and develop new opportunities to maximise sales value and profitability through the development, negotiating and delivery of brand business planning.

* Identify, develop and unlock new sales opportunities to expand presence of the brand both within and outside of the current selling arena (including Grocery, Food Service, Discounters, Direct to Consumer, High Street, Health Providers and Export).

* Deliver, execute and maintain technology plan solution to reach our consumers ensuring activation is more relevant and appropriate for our consumers. This will include delivery of an ongoing social media plan.

* Delivery and implementation of ongoing and relevant brand activation plans, working closely with retailers and the brand licence holder to maximise impact of spend closely monitored within expenditure budgets.

* Pro-actively build and develop relationships with other parties to create a synergised plan to enhance brand impact and relevance through in store presence, activation, promotions, online, PR and social media.

* Working closely with the insight, category and PD teams refresh current product portfolio and develop new product ranges that are aligned with both consumer and customer requirements.

* Lead the commercial agenda, tracking the overall Most Likely Outcome performance against key targets and working with our sales team to identify and implement sales and profit driving initiatives ensuring aspirations are delivered.


The successful Commercial Brand Manager will possess the following:

* FMCG sales & marketing experience

* Commercially astute with previous account manager and brand management experience

* Numerical and analytical skills

* Ability to network with key stakeholders

* Brand activation experience, including online and social media

* Team leader

* Brand strategy and plan development

* Customer facing experience
